I just dont know what to say

Have you ever lost someone and not cried?

I found out that my grandpa died over the weekend and I cried for maybe like 1 min. I just dont know how to react....and I feel bad. It might be because we were expecting it in a way...I mean no one wants someone to die but with older people it becomes a reality.

I wasnt necessarily close to him because he lives in Alabama and I havent seen him much recently. Also my dad's family is sooo non emotional that I think this is just a normal reaction. Im sure it will hit me later....

I really just feel bad that he was alone. No one ever wants to die alone. What if someone was there to help him...

I guess this is what happens when you get older...but no one wants it to happen to them. I only have 1 grandparent left and it hurts me heart. I cant imagine what my dad is thinking....he is so quiet and reserved about these kinds of things...and now he doesnt have parents to lean on.



Well we can end that depressing story

PS...I said I havent cried yet...but writing it made it seem more real

ahhh

OMG it is soooo nice out!

I went on a hike with the roomies yesterday and I am def feeling it today! I have not been this sore in forever.
It is supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow and I will believe it when I see it!

My sister is going to BAMA next year and although I wish she would stay here I am happy for her. I have figured out when I am going to visit her, what football games we will go to, and when we will go to DESTIN. This will be a huge change but I am excited for her.

These next couple of months are going to fly by with school, birthdays, rowing and graduations. I hope it doesnt go too fast...I want to enjoiy it!

I feel so motivated!

So it is the day before classes start for the spring!

I got up at a reasonable time
Ate breakfast..coffee and pineapple!
I am eating a snack...Fiber One Bar
Drinking water from my new Brita
AND getting ready to go to the gym!

I am ready for school to start and spring to begin...it still hasnt shown up here yet!

Im crossing my fingers for my sister today and thinking of all of the fun things in the next few months!

Im just in an all around good mood!

Lets start fresh...again

So I have a goal of the weight I want to lose by my birthday May 24th (21!). I have yet to lose more than 3 lbs.
I admit I havent been the best at keeping it healthy and active....but this is all (hopefully) going to change next week when I get back to school.
I have to work out more than twice a week...4-5 times
I am going to Costco today to get my snacks and other things....Fiber One bars are delish!
I got a Brita so I can drink more water...and not use plastic bottles!
I get really motivated and then I dont do anything...ugh

I also need to budget this quarter so I can start saving money


My sister has to decide on colleges in the next week. In my eyes its not really a decision because she only has one choice that my parents agree with. I really want her to stay here and go to the University of Washington...but my parents want her to go to the University of Alabama...she has a scholarship there. Both are great schools and I think that in the end she will be happy at either...but she has wanted to go to UW since she was 8. She is hopefully meeting with the coach at UW Monday to talk about possible scholarships...or any kind of money. At this point I just want to take out a loan so I can send her where she wants to go. I feel bad because it is not them being selfish it is just that they cant afford it. I hate that college is so expensive and that people cannot afford to go to the school that they want to because of money.

WOW

I almost forgot I had a blog...sad times

So I have been on break for a week and it has been soo relaxing.
I have been making my family dinner every night..and I get a little cash for it too! HA

I have pretty much been watching basketball...sleeping...cleaning...cooking...and running around. SO I would say pretty successful

It may not be some lovely trip...still jealous of Liana ha....but I am enjoying it!

2 more days

So i have been a total blog slacker...but i feel like i have nothing to write about!

I have 2 long...fun filled days until I can say that I am officially on Spring Break...this is one reason why I love my major...no finals!

My sister got into her first choice college and now has a big decision to make...more like my mom needs a lot of convincing to let her stay here with me.

Break will be soooo relaxing..i hope. I am trying to convince my parents to pay me to cook their meals for them while im home! haha

It is another sunny yet...hella cold day here in the PNW. I cant wait for spring!!

2 weeks to go!

Man this quarter went fast...I cant believe it is almost over.

I have sooo much to do but that will all be water under the bridge one week from thursday!

One of my besties is coming Wed and I am sooo excited! She goes to school on the East Coast and I never get to see her..that will be a nice distraction.

I have been slacking at the gym lately...but I do abs every night! I am starting to feel better in my clothes but I am no where near my goal...I think my scale is stuck on one number...haha
